As far as the noise/dragging brakes are we talking G-60's? If so,
check the slid pins on the bracket. I bet there gummed up and need to be re greased. Or,
Didn't I suggest to you that your master cylinder could b bad. If the pins are good try and put a cold cloth on the mc when it drags again.
Brake light could b the brake thingamigigy attached to the back of the brake pedal. It's plastic and is screwed into metal. Over time it could loosen up. U could fiddle with it to c if that remedies the light.

Subject: [V8] brakes still...
I'm getting extremely frustrated and I'm pretty sure I'm just going to have
to take this car to a shop soon. I just thought I'd check here first to see
if anyone has any final thoughts or ideas before I sell an arm to a
mechanic.
At this point I've installed a replacement brake servo, all new rotors and
pads, and SS brake lines. Now not only is the brake light still on, but the
front brakes are dragging. They make a pretty noticeable scraping noise at
all times, especially from the front right. I drove it on the freeway and
when I stopped the pads on that side were smoking (hopefully I haven't
destroyed the new pads and/or rotors on that side already).
The car does stop pretty well, but the pedal still doesn't feel quite
right. Just a little spongy, so I'm guessing there has to be some air in
the lines still, but I can't manage to get it out.
Anyway, is there a list somewhere of everything that will make the brake
light turn on or is there some sort of diagnostic test that will tell you
what's causing it to turn on (like blinking out engine codes)? I always
hate when there's a light that is triggered by more than one thing. It
kinda defeats the purpose in my opinion.
