[V8] unrelated to type 44 but a v8 nonetheless

Sounds exactly like what my buddy's Saab was doing and it turned out to be a
cracked piston. I remember being amazed at how quickly it started up and
how well it ran.
Come to think of it, it was noisier than usual, so if you aren't hearing any
noises it's probably something else.
