Well if you loosen the nut things air will come out no?????? Hence vacuum port?????

I've wondered that myself, but I don't see any vacuum port.  The  
yellow paint mark is the adjuster for either the Idle switch, or Full  
throttle switch according to the book, I've never touched either.   
Gotta run....renting an engine hoist to fulfill my reign as Saab  
Guru, and get it out of here....Tom
