[V8] Carlisle 2010 thoughts

Great pix but now I'm even MORE bummed that I couldn't get there... MY 
V8 was there and still photographs beautifully.  Dammit Scott, it's 
supposed to look like crap so I don't want it back... augh!  That 
little fender rust isn't enough to scare me off :)

alway good to see you, glad you made it back this year :)
The other v8 out there, belonged to new comer Casey (dont believe he 
made it
over here yet. His was a 91 factory 5 speed. Wish more of you could 
have made it
out there, it was truly our best showing yet, with lots of uber rare 
eye candy
this year. Will post link to pics when I get home.

Carlisle was a blast. I met so many great people at the event. Scott,

Allen and one other guy who was a V8er . My V8 was the only 93 there.

weather was great with a light cloud cover most of the day. The cars at 
the show
were amazing … over 1600 cars. Thanks to Morgan for getting the Audi

I managed to pick up a set of four Bilstein Shocks and springs for a 
steel of a
price. (used) I’m very happy with that purchase.

After the 14 total hours of driving on the weekend I can tell you it 
was a
wonderful experience. Had no mechanical problems, I hope this attests 
to my good
ongoing maintenance practices. On the Way down to Car PA we convoyed up 
with a
flying Audi s6 1995 , but he was going a bit too fast at 85mph. On the 
way back
we convoyed with a bunch of Saabs’, BMW and one sweet Blue s6 2004? , 
not sure
of the year but it was at Carlisle. Cheers superdave
