Any V8 with the factory towing package is rated for 2100 kgs, that's
over 4600 lbs. With the UFOs and 15 inch wheels. And I can personally
attest that the V8 is a very capable towing car, especially when
equipped with the self-leveling suspension like mine. I towed trailers
weighing more than three tons at sustained triple-digit speeds, and the
car handled that with aplomb.
Get the parts for the OEM towing package, which includes reinforcement
beams in the trunk, and your boat will be not an issue for the V8. ALL
aftermarket towing packages do not include these stuctural enhancements.
