[V8] The latest addition to our family

  Hi,

it's the third V8 RHD in our "family" now, a friend of mine drives two
others. A silver/nautic '93, in the meantime eqipped with BOSE, Connolly
leather memory seats and an electric rear sunroof, side sunroofs, and a
lot of other stuff. We shot it in 2004 in eBay. The other V8 is the
private car of Tim Connolly from Connolly Leather Ltd. and a very rare
Classic Line in Cognac (probably the only one RHD), it was running in
Wimbledon. We bought it from a guy in Ashford on eBay and had the
handover in Orbital Park, for insiders ;)

Most people are distracted by the RHD in countries with right hand
traffic, but there is hardly any reason for that. I was driving such a
car for several thousand miles and had hardly any problems. Taking over
isn't that funny, but it is hardly ever funny, and you have to jump out
of the car in order to slide the access card for a parking garage. But
in the meanwhile you always have the absolutely stunned face of the
driver of the car behind you - that's worth the minute ;)

All in all, I even prefer RHD vehicles in general - somehow I feel more
comfortable in them. No idea why.

Regards

Bastian
