Well first off the car i'm talking about is the "new to me" 90 v8 converted 5sp. This car was an Auto that was "converted" to 5sp after the Auto shit the bed.
Betty my oe 91 v8 5sp mit "converted" 4.2 is sitting in the garage all comfy cozy laughing at me while I go over the nuisances that i've gotten myself into with this "converted" 5sp v8. And,
Betty's 4.2 has the 3.6 intake all ready on her.....i've been putting 3.6 intake's on 4.2 motors for a long time now :-)

I couldn't think of a single washer that needs to b looked at on Betty......she is perfect in every way!
So now that we established that.....

......I fixed the fuel rail on the "new to me" 5sp, I all so put the little rubber fuel line from the FPR back on the rear of it and i'll b going for a ride to make sure all is fine.

Well, no, just be safer then sorry... er. If I understand correctly you
said the hole for the fuel rail in the intake manifold is effed up so that
one side is not bolted down? That would scare the shit out of me,
especially after what I just went through. I'd either take the time to do
a 3.6l intake manifold conversion, or tap the screwed up hole to a bigger
size and take the fuel rail and drill it out for a bigger bolt. Either way,
I can't imagine that is confidence inspiring driving around with a 1/2 held
down fuel rail.

Unless I'm missing what you were describing.
