[V8] no hot start and no codes?

ecu temp sensor would throw a code would it not?.......it's got lots of fuel pressure from the pump.
something is going wrong on the rail maybe
this is hell!

Those cars are OBD2, so if it was a temp sensor then it would throw a code.
I do agree that it's fuel related. I wanted to say fuel pump relay....but the OP said it would start if he clamped off the supply line or if the purge valve is disconnect.

 So I don't know…

I'll take a wild stab at it...  mina fuel rail disconnected made me think
ok, too much fuel... ecu temp sensor, back side of passenger side head.

Fuel pressure 55 lbs
No codes ( brand new computer)
car will only start if the main fuel rail is disconnected
