Hey Jason, I recently just rebuilt my pump. And thanks again Kneale,
for those awsome pages that my manual didn't have. While I borrowed
my machine shop buddy's monster press, the pulley holder came off
really easy(west coast car). I probably could have done it with a 3
jaw puller, if I had one. One thing I noticed, was that even though
mine had been recently rebuilt by ZF, the "pushrods" that move the
pistons(under the x-caps) were pretty worn, and one was worn half way
thru, and that spring was broken. I luckily had saved the seized
pump out of the Pearl car, and was able to glean the pushrod/spring
for the bad one. It did also appear that one or more were a bit
smaller(could be wrong), but would do the x-caps one at a time just
in case. It was probably one of the most satisfying $7 i've ever
spent. I had every intention of doing all the hoses also, but since
the pressure hose was NEW, and nothing leaked, I just put it back
together. Good luck...Tom
