Kent,

I saw something on some TV program a while back which just might 
work,  Make a small hole in a tennis ball and then hold the ball over 
the key slot of your door.  Then push (hard) the ball against the 
car.  The idea is to produce some air pressure inside the lock and 
use that pressure to operate the locking system.

Dunno, but it just might work for you.
