Heated seats.
Assuming that I haven't go the wrong end of the stick, here...
A common problem on other versions of audis is that the sensor in the base becomes disconnected due to broken wires.  It is a thermistor, with very little in the way of strength or support in the wired connections.  It is also bonded into the seat base.  As the heating elements are wired in series, a break in any connection renders the whole thing Dead!  I need to attack the heater in my drivers seat.  A telltale is that you can sometimes hear the relay clicking as you move about on the seat.  This is caused by the wire being in very close proximity so making intermittent contact.
The seat base heater element is sandwiched in the cover.  The solution is to dismantle the seat, open the base, resolder the wires, and reassemble.  It's mostly hardwork.
