[V8] You never know...

I've thought about a diesel, but there are still only a limited number of gas stations with it and it's considerably more expensive than standard gas. I suspect this is also one of the reasons people are buying hybrids. I know it is a bit of a chicken-egg issue but it is probably a major contributing factor.

Yeah Ingo, you know. It is very sad. In speaking with a close friend who is a
DPSM for one of the major manufacturers, the rest of the world laughs at the US
because we are the only "dumbasses" in the world who think hybrid technology is
good. Sadly, they make diesels now that the exhaust is cleaner than gas
engines. But hey, as long as Americans buy into hybrids, then diesel engine
will never take off here!
