Hey, well I sent the Pressure/Suction hoses off for the Lago car
while I was doing the Timing Belt, and just got them back today. The
guy I talked with last week said they do a lot of steering hoses, and
most run about $100/each, so I decided not to send off the Bomb hose,
as it didn't leak and is easy to get at. They charged $124 for the
pressure hose, and $17 to do the suction hose and with sending it
there/back Priority, took about a week. While there's a lot of
Hydraulic shops in Bellingham, nobody had the metric crimps to do
this. I've heard of a place in Seattle that people have used, but
decided to go with the guys who've done a ton of these. Pump is
totally rebuilt and awaiting install. I threw new brushes in the
Alternator/Belt and everything else including the oil pump bearing/
viscous bearing are in, and just need to put the covers/front back
on. I made a large sign on top of the motor saying "FILL WITH OIL/
COOLANT"...just so I don't get ahead of myself.....Happy times....I
haven't driven that car in almost 4 years and am thinking it's due
for a roadtrip......Tom
