Eather both ur window regs/motors are bad or the wiring in the door jambs are fractured.
 Check the driver door jamb wiring first.

 The relay is a X2 wide relay that controls the windows and the Sunroof. I think it's #6 in the aux relay board in the pass side foot whell. But thd back of the cover should tell u what relay is what.

hello, i recently purchased a 1990 v8 quattro.  
 Both rear windows will not go down from ANY of the buttons. When i push the buttons on my driver door i get a slightdim in the interior light and i hear a tiny noise. This leads me to believe the switches are working. They are activating something at least.  I think maybe the child safety switch is stuck, but i pushed it so hard it fell into the driver door.  So now i have to take that apart also. Does anyone know if there are relays or switches or fuses i can easily check before i start  taking things apart.   thanks sooo much
