well whadaya know -

I just got the Valeo clutch I ordered from Fort Wayne Clutch (found it on ebay), and it is a Sachs - just like the one I took out.  The throw out bearing in also sachs, and has a fiber face on it. Different than my old one which was metal face.  The pilot bearing appears to be a piece of chinese junk though. It is just a sealed bearing - not at all like my old one which is a needle bearing. I think I will just reuse my old one.  It should be fine.

Anyway, for $425, if you want OEM, this is it for a good price.  I think They are trying to get rid of them.

I am actually a little bummed though - having been through two sachs units, I was ready to try something different.  Maybe I will just learn how to drive instead...
