[V8] End of an era(non audi content)

I know the feeling - I just liquidated my old Saab 900 parts stock
(transmissions, APCs, other sooperdoopercool bits) recently. It was
like turning a chapter lol.

I had a 1989 Convertible that sat (sitting due to - you guessed it - a
broken transmission) in my new house's garage which was dank - molded
everything and rusted EVERYTHING (literally amazing - never seen
anything like it, all electrical connections, etc.). I was so
disgusted, I flipped. A guy towed it off to the boneyard a few years
ago now, and I've been holding on to the bits expecting to get another
someday...finally gone to a guy that stage rallys a nice < 88
900...every now and again I still run across some stupid little part
(yes, I'm THAT sappy) like for instance one of the washers that hold
the door panel on - you know - the ones that are plastic and have the
radial pattern on them - and I think about that car...

Hopefully we will both be Saabin' again soon.

My V8 needs some attention, but the XR4Ti rally car is currently
taking priority... At least the dank garage has since been fixed, and
this can't happen again to the V8.
