Before you dismiss those lights, they may be better than you think,
as the lenses may already have been scratched/clouded when you got
the truck.
I got a $10-15 Rain-X kit at the local auto parts store that worked
great. It included a couple 1-1/2" foam-backed sanding squares of
various grits, along with fluids to polish the plastic. Spend the
$ and 1/2 hour of elbow grease and see if it fixes the problem.
P.S. Works on Audi plastic headlight lenses, too.
