[V8] Audi V8 US version facts

The interior colors were four: Tan, Grey, Black, and Blue. Three styles of 
seats in 90-91: Sport or comfort, no charge, and Connely(I'll have to dig up 
the Monroney for the 90 to see what they cost). 92-94 had Connely only.

Only two standard/optional wheels were the 15" "Aero" wheels (silver, or 
peral white) or the 15" BBS wheels. As mentioned by Shayne, you could order 
the silver steel wheels, but they would have come in addition to the car's 
standard wheels. I actually have one of those wheels. It was the spare in 
the 90 Lago car I parted.

I was looking to buy in late 02, and the cars we looked at were all 3.6 
autos, because a 5-speed or 4.2 brought the price to $7000+ back then. We 
had about $3500 to spend. We looked at a silver/black connely 91 with BBS 
wheels, a blue/blue sport 90 with silver aero's, a bronze/tan sport 90 with 
aero's, a pearl/black comfort 90 with pearl aero's, and the pearl/grey 
comfort 91 with B5 S4 17's we ended up with. It originally came with the 15" 
BBS's, which the previous owner had sold.

On a side note, I've drive a 5-speed Tornado Red with the 15" BBS wheels in 
Montana. I believe it was a 90, and either way it had the full Woolcord (I 
was also told it's refered to as "virgin wool") interior. I don't know the 
story on it, and it was soooooo long ago I don't think I could even track 
the car down. I do know that it was wrecked by a kid (son of owner) and 
rebuilt at a body shop in town (Bozeman). It was the first time I drove a 
5-speed V8, and it definately left an impression on me.
