Looks a good bit higher than stock to me. Kind of cool if you have to deal
with a lot of snow or do any off road driving.

Subject: [V8] S6 springs in 5kqt? What will happen...

So, I've seen what S6A stock springs look like in a 5kqt, which weighs
~3100lbs. S6A runs about 3900#'s, V8 ~4100#s, and the S4 C4 gen about
3800#s. I'm thinking, I have a set of lowering springs, still, sitting
around. What will happen when you put them in a car at least 800lbs less
than what they were meant for?

I've always really liked the idea of stiffer springs at nearly stock ride
height with Bilstein HDs but could never find someone to custom wind me some
springs. So maybe Eibachs and HDs would be a good fit in a lighter car.
Keeping stock ride height gives you clearance, and allows you to preserve
suspension geometry and not need camber plates. Honestly, once you go past
parallel with your front control arms all the time you're asking for trouble
and poor handling characteristics anyway, and audi had it pretty close on my
V8 anyway.

here's a pic of such a car with stock S6a springs.
