[V8] Wheels

just to add some fuel to that confusion (and to make you more jealous of
us Europeans who have enjoyed such a great range of options on our V8s):
On this side of the pond, the V8 was available with 17" wheels as a
factory option - the "Bolero" style". The EVO model had them standard. 8
inches wide, designed for 235/45 or 235/40 tires and they look great. So
much for "never intended to have them".
I know A8 drivers who use them as winter tires...they hold up to that
task better than the BBS ones.
The OEM BBS wheels (no matter if 15" or 16") are forged and of really
high quality. I have driven those (16") for about 200k miles now and
have had no issues.
Personally, I think these Euro-only 16" BBS wheels are the best option
for a V8 in terms of looks and drivability.
