[V8] FYI Knock sensor

Gentlemen,
  Just for your info - I kept getting a Check engine Light under wide open throttle around 5-6K rpm.  No other time did I have this light.  Ended up showing a bad Knock sensor.  Sensor wire was severed due to broken insulation around sensor.  Long story short replaced sensor and car runs much better.  I can see how someone who babys their car would never know this was broken.  Check your knock sensor - especially the one under the drivers side exahust manifold (lots of heat there).  Could help in the MPG and power.  Good luck.
