[V8] V8 steam engine

My motor did that to me ...I always thought it was the cam chain.....the left side is up front?...and the right in the back?...or reverse of that?
Never harmed the motor ...although it did blow a bit of blue smoke out the tailpipe.

Thanks. That's a good idea, although the sounds are pretty focused  
higher up where non of the accessories are rotating, but it's worth a  
try.
Maybe, a stethoscope might help out too.
