[V8] Running issues

Hey David,
I replaced the FP and tested @ 60lbs at the PS rail. Ran it and the FRP seemed to keep up. I'm baffeled. Only had time to check the hall sender, and it was flashing with the eng running. I do believe it is starved. I have found another FPR and will replace it tomorrow.

Thanks for your help,
Paul

I think a too lean mixture will also overheat the cats - at any rate, maybe your problem is fuel starvation?
Maybe a fuel flow and pressure test is in order?

Thanks Dave,
Yes, I've been through that. Even tore the front apart. T-Belts fairly new.

Plugs were white last time I pulled them. Lean?

I'm pretty sure all plugs are firing.

any chance you slipped the timing belt a tooth or two?
that might explain the 2113 code.
you can get a pretty good idea by setting the crank at TDC with the crank timing mark and checking the distributor timing marks.

The CAT light says to me that you are dumping fuel into the cat - in other words, the warning light did its job. What do the plugs look like? wet or fouled? Have you verified spark at each cylinder?
