[V8] Running issues: Further

Good Evening,
 
Well I swapped out the ecu with one from a 1990. I should find one for a '91 though.
 
Viola....Now I am getting different codes. Old one gave me just 1 code 2113 Hall sender, which tested functional.
1st code: 2144 Knock sensor #2. The engine was running rough.
So I cross the knock sensor wires. No code. Cross back, no code.
Running a bit better. 
Then the new fuel pump starts screaming....fluctuating...making strange noises. 
Luckily I still have the old one, which I replaced for no apparent reason, just to get smelly..
Swap them out again. Still funtioning. No change in running.
But now an other code. 4431 ISV. Too late to pull and clean again.

But I'm going to be away from the car all next week. But will keep my mind working at it.
Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated!
