[V8] uber nice V8.....

I think this car has been floating around for almost two years now.  I have
seen it advertised in all sorts of places for all sorts of prices, and the
only difference seems to be that the price is now coming down quite
radically.  

 

I don't believe the stories until I have actually seen the car, but if the
stories about care and storage are accurate, this would be a great car to
buy.the right price right now, I think, too.  Although V8 Quattros will sell
only for what someone will pay for one, and in order for one to sell at all,
a buyer who wants one must first be found.

 

Last week I watched several eBay auctions for the fun of it.  One was for a
very nice S8 that was selling for no reserve.  Very good miles for the age.I
think it was less than 70,000 miles, but in that neighborhood, and about as
perfect as they get.  The other two were for S6 Avants of the same vintage
and in the same condition and with the same miles.  

 

The S8 went for just under twelve grand as I recall, and both S6 Avants went
for about seven grand more.
