[V8] Audi 5k parts needed

Those stories remind me of the time I picked up a 450SLC Mercyless Benz
for a friend of mine south of the equator.  Sunday, 180 degrees out,
thunder clouds looming and the harness catches fire on the highway. 
Pulled over and extinguished the flames, not so friendly locals climbing
down the embankment on the other side of the highway waiting to cross and
see if our shoe and pant sizes matched.  Hot wired the battery to the
Cold Start valve with jumper cables through the passenger window, touch
wires together, balls to the wall acceleration.  Drove it 200 clicks like
that and vowed never to get myself into situations like that again. 
Still can't believe how fast that 5 spd was with nothing but the cold
start feeding it.   That was years ago, and even after the complete
restoration, the hood's still a little cocked from where I slammed it
down on the jumper wires.  ;-)
