Define "possible".
The unit is pressed together, and the individual sensor part is not available.
If yours is dead though, and you have the means to get it apart and back together again, there is a tiny possibility that you could retrofit something in there.
Definitely not worth the effort if you can find a used part somewhere. It is funny that this came up already today - but a distributor off a VW 4 cylinder of the same era has a very similar hall sensor setup. I looked at trying to retrofit but found a used unit instead. It was way beyond what I could do in my garage with a big hammer.
