[V8] Trans fluid change, drain vs disconnect cooler line

I have heard of draining the 4 quarts and doing the filter then doing 4
quarts again. I would rather just warm up the tranny and then pull a line
let it pump out all the fluid and fill it.

Is this feasible?

Oh it might be liters.
