[V8] Love the list

Ha!  Just pulled my 5 speed out of storage for nearly a year and after the
2nd or 3rd lock/unlock event, I felt something pop and sure enough, that
same linkage came loose.  I owned my car for 8 years before I even learned
that there was something broken.  Luckily _with_ battery power the enhanced
feature of the door locks for 91 still will pop all the locks.  I almost got
stuck with no battery and no linkages once.  The first thing I did to the
black 93 was fix those linkages in both front doors since both were no
longer connected.

I really am enjoying driving the 5 speed again, even though it runs very
poorly.  Light throttle and higher revs in each gear seem to mask that
though.

Hey, I went out to reinstall the charged battery in the 5-speed, and  
learned the reason that those locks felt soooo smooth, was that the  
mechanical part is broken on both, and got locked out.  Luckily the  
trunk lock works, and recalling that this recently happened to one of  
you, and that a little compressed air in the vacuum hose was the  
answer.  I couldn't find the "blower" end for my airhose, so first  
tried the "MiniVac" vacuum pump to redeem it's worthyness (after all  
your comments about using it to bleed brakes), but alas....it didn't  
work.  After 1/2 hr in the basement, found the tip, and popped the  
doors instantly.  Without this list, I'd have never thought to do  
that, and pretty sure there is no mention of it in the manual.
