[V8] Switching CV joints

Hi Guys;

Another issue with the 90Q, early build 1988:  front right half-shaft  
is making an awful racket when wheels are turned, seems to be one (or  
both) CV joints.  Since I have a spare set of driveshafts from the V8,  
would anyone know if the V8 CV joints could be swapped onto a 90Q  
half-shaft?  Family album shows  different half-shaft numbers, but  
perhaps CV joints at both ends are the same?
