Pilkington and PPG are seperate companies. Pilkington is actually based in 
Europe, while PPG is a US based company. I used to work for a glass company, 
and Pilkington is one of the big companies that put on a training session 
for us here in the US.

Glad you were able to find a new W/S Dave.

Hi Ari,

Safelite did find a new windshield for me, and it is a Pilkington.  Good to 
know they still make them.
I think Pilkington was formerly known in the US as PPG but not sure.

Anyway, I have a new windshield and life is good.
