[V8] Windshields NLA?

I used to spend my winters driving back/forth thru the Rockies in the  
winter, and windshields lasted about 3-4 years where they use sand  
heavily.  I used to/still  have $100 windshield replacement even on  
the old Saab, as the glare thing can get downright dangerous. I  
recall having a windshield replaced, driving to Colorado, driving  
home thru a savage slush storm, and it was pretty much sandblasted  
when I got home.   A brand new windshield is like putting on reading  
glasses(before you were told  that you actually need them....)...Tom
