SeamusI'm flattered that you think I have so much spare time to either generate this rubbish, or am in a position to get it under control.In fact, it is being generated elsewhere, by persons unknown.  I suspect that this is obvious.
My best guess is that this started in someone else's account.  Probably one of my contacts.  No matter.It's highly irritating, and also equally totally beyond my control.After the first event, there was evidence in my sent mail that someone had hacked the account, or whatever it is that has happened.  I deleted all of the contacts in my account.  This second round of emails has left no similar evidence.  No sent messages.  The first that I know of this is random responses from people that I haven't emailed.
Would/could Hotmail delete the account all together?  I have no idea.
By all means, delete my email address from the list.  But do understand that this will probably not be the end of it.
