Nah throttles smooth as silk now.
ISV is clean. I had gotten that code before and have cleaned it. Works as it should.
Yeah plugs are under 1k old. There the AL 103's. All gaped at 28 or 32......I forget. I have had bad experiences with the AL plugs......but there so darn cheap. Keith had told me long ago I should try the Champion plugs.....maybe I should.

Ron, throttle's not sticking at all, is it? I'd remove and clean the ISV (in
case you haven't yet). Plugs are new you said?

going through the gears she kinda backfires out the exhaust a

kinda chugs a bit. She does go up to 6,500+ RPM while i'm stomping on
her.......got to b ign.....or mayb that TPS needs another adjustment??????

and sounds like she's not running on all 8 cylinders. Exhaust sounds
different, while idling it's rather lumpy and while reving she spits and
backfires a bit.
>> No codes so i'm obviously thinking ign related. I just changed spark
plugs and wires (bought from a lister who said they were good). The wires
supposed to OHM out at.....1k or was it 5k? I know the wires are on rite
cause I pulled one at a time and replaced with the told to me good wires.
I'll pull one wire at a time and replace with my originals to make sure I
don't have a bad wire or two.
>> The caps look good, no cracking or carbon buildup on the cap points.
Rotor tips were clean as well when I pulled the caps.
