And for that matter, I won't go over 60k on any of mine, no matter what the
recommendation is. I've rebuilt about ten 1.8T heads from belts going, and
only one was over the 105K recomended interval. The lowest was 72k, and no,
the factory didn't cover it. These are mostly due to the tensioner itself
going bad, but nonetheless, I won't take the chance. a 1.8T head rebuild
with TB service runs about $2k, too high for my pocketbook ;-)
