Not.
No DOT approval on them, means you can't run them legally. It may or may not get you pulled over. I run 'non-standard' lights in my Miata and haven't been bothered for it. I think the increased use of Xenon's gives you a better shot at being ignored.

Subject: [V8] SFest and lights
Headlights:
Hmmmm, not experienced with all the euro-spec stuff, but typically with respect
to lighting, yes they seem to be superior. My question is however are they
"legal" in the US?
When I bought my V8 it had widow tinting. Within the first week I was pulled
over twice and told I'm mo uncertain terms that I had to remove it. I know the
local cops around here don't have anything better to do, but going to
non-standard lights would be just one more thing for them to break stones about,
unless of course they are "legal".
So what's the verdict? Legal or not?
Thanks,
ProfessorGT
