[V8] Bogging down

My 93 did something like this when the MAF started to die. If you have
another V8 around, it only takes a few minutes to swap the part to see if
it's the problem. I pulled a spare out of my 92 parts car and it was marked
with junkyard grease pencil that it was for/from a 1990 V8q. Worked great
in both the 92 and 93.

Ok, so have a new fuel pump in. Car always fires right up and idles fine.
Revs fine in neutral. Car was driving fine. Now, this seems to be getting
progressivley worse. If you punch the throttle the car just cuts out, no
power but never stalls. Then sometimes as you are driving at about 45-50 a
miss and then no power. If you pull of and shut the car off and restart it
its much better and you have power again. Also the check engine light comes
on but then goes back out. Just ordered a Vag Com and will check codes when
it comes in. This is not much fun when you are at a light with traffic
behind you and you go to take off and it it just bogs right down. Have been
pulling off on the side of the road way to much. This is a 93 v8 4.2 auto.
Any ideas? Maybe TPS, Coil? Jeff
