124K, bought from an ebay auction, had a fire on the cats from oil leaks. We
replaced everything needed, plus the center differential (the guy that
delivered it did so on a tow dolly). Got it running, test drive, down to the
car wash to clean up the engine. Made it less than a mile, timing belt went
:(
BTW, that car had a sticker for a TB at 62k, so the second belt that was on
the car had 62k as well.
That was a friends car. Sold the car, it was a lago/grey auto 90.
I also did a top end rebuild for a customer, 58k on the belt. I will always
do V8's at 50k intervals after those two.
I bought a parts car from the original owner with a bad trans. Turns out
there was a reciept in the car for a trans flush. It had just been done,
when I pulled the dipstick, it had motor oil in it. Quick lube places, gotta
love them. And people still bring their cars there!!
