[V8] Thrust bearing failure

I think you came to an interesting conclusion without seeing the car before
it left or when it came back to Bangor, and without knowing how many miles
the car had been driven both before the mechanic returned the car to me or
before I took the car to Bangor to show to the buyer.  There was ZERO
vibration or other issues with the car when it left for its new owner.
 
Both the mechanic and I wondered who foisted off that S4 motor onto the
buyer in Portland.  You?  I am surprised.  I hope you were the guy who did
the hatchet job getting that engine out of the donor car.  Whatever the
case, the engine was installed in my former car in Bangor, and set up there.

 
I know of at least a dozen 928 folks who will be interested in your claims
to resolution of the S4 thrust bearing failure.  
 
None of them are in Canada.
