[V8] Major issue: Dead V8

Since the car has been parked, you might also inspect for rodents.  Who knows what they might have done.  
I had a small rock get stuck at the front pivot - right at the throttle plates.  You have to take off the the throttle plates anyway to inspect and lube the pivot bearing so have a look there.

And on the cruise rod - I made a "J" hook out of some copper electrical wire (12 gauge) that will catch the rod if it ever falls off. One extra safety measure.
