tom,

about 10-12 years ago, i decided to do all the bushings on my v8q. i
ultimately took the subframe, sway bar and all the old parts that i was
replacing to a local machine shop. i had them turn delrin bushings out for
me. i offered to do a run of them if anyone was interested. IIRC, one
person took me up on it, tho i cant recall who it was. to date, the
bushings are in great shape and i have had no problems at all. the v8 was
like a new car after that, with no real decrease in ride comfort.

if all your trying to do is the sway bars with poly bushings, i believe
there are several people on this email list and on motorgeek that have
actually used energy suspension bushings.

http://www.energysuspension.com/

they do have a wide assortment of universal bushings.

i personally have used energy bushings on my 4ksq's sway bars with good
luck.

FWIW, i belive i paid about 300$ to do all of the bushings (subframe and
sway). of course the control arms could not be done in delrin due to the
design. now, i believe there is someone out there with a stiffer solution
for our control arms. i cant recall who it is. could be 034 or i could
have seen a prototype of it. i am sorry, wish i could help there. i cant
find it on their webpage or anywhere for that fact.

I hth,

Shayne
