[V8] Need: 1990 V8 Heater Blower Motor, Windshield Wiper Switch

I've BTDT with both as well. The blower motor in the Avant is still going
3-4 years later after "a season" of treating with CRC QD Electronic Cleaner
and WD40, alternating one after the other. I believe I also did the trick
where you pushed down on the spring holder to tighten it up on the shorter
(worn) brush. Haven't had to touch it for a couple years again.
On the same car I was having trouble with the rear wiper/washer switch and
finally took the steering wheel off and took the switch out. It was then
that I discovered the there was a crack in the switch body that allowed it
to flex enough to not make contact. It is possible that I caused this
previously by overly exuberant actuation when the wiper motor was indeed
FUBAR. I used a drop of super glue on it and it has been working since.
With that and wiper switches on one or two of the V8's I have sprayed the
above-mentioned cleaner into the switch from the side, along the stalk, to
get them working again.
Once I finally bit the bullet and decided to dig in and remove the steering
wheel and the switch, I realized that it isn't that bad to do. I was fairly
paranoid about triggering the 2 decade old airbag, but still have all my
digits. I will still be very careful and respectful of the possibility of
detonation, but I will not put it off as I had done originally.

Tom is dead on with the blower motor, give it a try. Can't hurt, just make
sure it's non-flamable (just had this discussion on QW as well). For the
wiper switch, it will more than likely need to be taken apart to clean. At
that point, I'd probably take the headlight switch apart as well, as they
tend to be a bit more troublesome. Need to do that with my new-to-me 100
Avant as well.
