[V8] Headlight Misalignment after Timing Belt

While I agree with both Tom's guess and Ron's assessment that something is
amiss, especially since they are that far off, I'll add this. Headlight
alignement is part of the "by the book" procedure on any modern Audi/VW when
the lock carrier is removed. That said, I've had the lock carrier off in
excess of 100 Audi's, and while I always check the headlight alignment after
I'm done, I've only had to adjust three of them. Two also came in for
complaints of headlight alignment before I started working on them. So, that
means only one needed alignment, and that one could have been bad before.
Just the customer never mentioned it.

Either way, definately double check the mounting of everything else first,
especially if the marker lights are pointing at the ground as well. I'm
assuming this is in reference to the fender line that the markers should
line up with?

U know it all so depends on how u bolt the front back on. I usually mark all
mounting points with a marker to get the washers/bolts/nuts back to close to
there original positioning.
I would check the rad bracket bolts (4) there is some "in and out" swing to
were those bolts would b....know what I mean?
I would loosen those and the two phillips screws that bolt to the fenders
and swivel the whole front back a bit toward the motor...know what I mean?
