[V8] Introduction!

Hey Cary, welcome to the tribe.  I never got to see the ad showing  
the car, but didn't hear anything about "rods,cams,pistons,tuning"  
and am sure there are many(myself included) that want to hear more  
about that.  Before you condemn the blower motor, you can remove the  
small elbow shaped vent tube that's right over the brushes and spray  
the brushes with electrical contact cleaner while lightly tapping the  
brush's with a screwdriver...I "fixed" the one on my 5-speed 2 years  
ago this way, and still works fine.  I've got stock springs on all my  
cars and have never had the money/motivation to upgrade, but if one  
broke on my 5-speed, I'd upgrade all 4(most likely to something Blue  
since that's what Ron has  ;-) and the 5-speed is worthy of any  
improvements.  Mine is currently sidelined with a cracked steering  
rack mount, and awaiting an infusion of cash/time to buy the 034  
tranny mounts which it also needs.  Since yours has been completely  
out, you might be pleasantly surprised that one just never got  
torqued.  Your first job however, is to take some pics of the car/ 
info on those upgrades and post them so we can all
