[V8] Ipod to Bose system

Hey, well after the timing belt job and sitting for 4 years, the Bose  
unit finally for some unknown reason tonight let me unlock it.  I  
noticed it was in Safe mode a few years ago when I pulled the battery  
for the 10th time to swap for one of the others/put it on the  
charger, but payed no attention.  I've been finally driving it the  
last few weeks have tried to no avail to get the bugger to unlock.   
I've left the key in the on position more than the allotted 1 hr, and  
even left it on all day, and nothing.  I reread all the Bose head  
unit unlock stuff, and for some reason, went out and it worked.  All  
4 amps were rebuilt by a friend about 5 years ago, and since I  
haven't driven it in 4 years, am just used to the Alpine system in  
the 5-speed(which I love.....), but the perfectly working Bose system  
sounds better than great, and would have to say, better than the  
Alpine w/Alpine speakers front/back.... (I"ve got old Bose 901's in  
my house).  I want to keep the system in that car, and seem to have  
lost the article where someone wired their Ipod into the changer  
input......I've still got a few hundred cassette tapes if I've got to  
go there, but really want to wire the ipod into the system......Tom
