[V8] Paint issue

When I bought the car about 5 years ago the PO has painted the 93 Audi V8 a nice Alpine white. The color looks so much better than the pearl white I think , no disrespect to my other Audi Brothers !! 
 
Yesterday after washing the car I can notice there has been a lot of damage done by washing the car by hand. The amount of swirl damage is the worst I've ever seen. Does anyone have any suggestions to what would be a good product to try to bring the paint back to life? 
 
I'll have to do a week of buffing or have to get the car repainted . thanks guys . superdave .
 
NOTE / do not use the SHAMMY WOW cloth to clean your car with . I'm not sure if you guys in the USA know about shammy wow product
