[V8] > Anyone else this old?

I have just two questions.  Those brakes from Ford. Weren’t they the original UFO’s?  Unusual Ford Oddities, I think they were.  And those headlights. Did you get the Euro headlight option?

Not even close! My first car was a 1939 Ford coup with an 85 hp V8. It was the first year Ford used hydraulic brakes. It had a floor shifter and the windshield was hinged to open at the bottom for cooling in the summer. It did not have seal beamed headlights. It had a key switch , a toggle switch and a button for starting. I broke the key off in the unlocked position so only had to use the toggle switch and button to start. One of the best cars I ever owned!  Much more to share if anyone is interested.
