I would be happy to relieve you of that creaky old McIntosh and Triads!!
but really, they are likely to be worth a small fortune. Especially the
amp. If it works, I think these things go for thousands. Even
non-functional but complete it is likely to be worth many hundreds. There
is a real boom for the retro gear now and McIntosh made the best of the
best. I know Japanese collectors used to pay downright insane amounts for
real USA made audio gear and muscle cars.
I was talking to a used audio store owner in Boulder CO a long time ago
who said his Japanese customers would demand he remove the covers and
certify that no japanese (or any other asian) parts were inside before
they would buy.
