Well, it's so silent, that I decided to ramble on about what I did
today. I'm finally parting the grey car, and needed to drive it
somewhere to do that. After putting a battery in it, it didn't want
to start after getting hot, and while I was planning on taking it on
a 5 minute ferry, that wasn't ideal. I tried to find another place
in town, but needed to go out there anyway, so decided to replace the
flywheel sensors today. With a tiny 1/4" ratchet, I was able to
extract the sensor housing in a record 17 min!(getting good at
this). Took them inside and sure enough, the speed sensor(the one
that always seems to go bad), tested bad. I had 3 spares, so I ended
up testing all of them, and sure enough when I got them hot with the
heatgun, 1 of them tested bad(as well as the one on the car that
tested bad cold, and didn't change when heated). Got it back in and
it runs/starts great, just wish the auto tranny didn't
slip......anyway, I went above and beyond the call to verify tranny,
and there's no way I'm putting another auto tranny in this car(other
cosmetic issues).......Ultimate parts car.......I'm keeping a lot of
stuff, but if anyone needs any Titan Grey body parts.....I'm finally
getting to it.....Tom
