I just put in a Jorgen rack. They do a great job - but there is one possible problem point - they have a weird method of setting the position of the pinion on reassembly. The result is that your rack may be a tooth off, which means the steering wheel will not be where it was when you started the job. If you need an alignment anyway then probably no big deal as long as there is enough room on the tie-rod adjusters. I say weird method because it almost depends if the assembly tech is right or left handed. The procedure is to push the rack to one end, then turn it back x number of turns and then set the pinion in the proper orientation. Depending on which way the guy initially pushes the rack determines if it is perfect or off by a tooth.
If you think it matters, just have them make sure the new one matches the old one.

They are great to work with though and prices are good. Also, if you have them rebuild your old rack, you can request they not paint it. Otherwise it comes back brown - and that does not match the decor under the hood.

I also used them for a new steering gear for my ranger - and that came back Ford blue. In this case, it kinda looks cool against the rust....
